My Experience

I hold a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and a Masters in Teaching from University College London, Institute of Education. Additionally, I am honoured to be a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, reflecting my commitment to the highest standards in education.

As a DiverseEd Associate and network leader for WomenEd, a global charity organisation dedicated to supporting female teachers and leaders in education, I work to empower and uplift all, including people with protected characteristics, in the educational sector. My contributions to the field are further highlighted by my role as co-host of Series 1 of The #DiverseEd podcast and as a contributing writer for the books "Diverse Educators: A Manifesto" and Sarah Mullin's "What They Don't Teach You on Your PGCE."

I regularly share my insights on coaching and mentoring, school leadership, and effective research-informed practices through my speaking engagements as education conferences and my blogs, where I aim to inspire and support educators in their professional journeys.

My contributions to the sector have been recognised as I have been awarded a Jack Petchey Award for Inspirational Leadership at Sarah Bonnell School and won the We Are the City's 'Rising Star Award in Education' in 2021. Also 2021, the English Department I led at Forest Gate Community School won the prestigious Times Education Supplement (TES) English Team of the Year.
